You reanimate the body of your component as a skeleton, zombie, or shadow -- if a hand is used it becomes a crawling claw -- to do your bidding. You can mentally command it and it can telepathically express simple ideas, emotions, or information. If it dies or moves out of the range of the spell, the cantrip ends. It will not willingly move out of the range of the spell. It cannot carry more than 5 pounds and any radiant damage is enough to kill it. If you use the same component for the cantrip, it will remember you and any experiences it had will you had animated it in the past.
It may attack one time, when it does so, it adds 1d6 necrotic damage which you are also healed for. It disappears immediately after the attack and the component is consumed. You cannot cast multiple instances of this spell at once and you cannot heal from this cantrip more than once per hour.
