The target of spell has their speech magically overwritten by gibberish related to adventuring, causing confusion to run amok around their allies. The specifics of the gibberish and their effect are determined by a single word uttered by the caster upon the completion of the spell and the DM's discretion.
Some examples include
Requires the caster to speak the language of the target.
If the enemies don't use spoken language to communicate or wouldn't listen to each other the spell has no effect.
The target rolls a charisma save to be silenced, on a success they can still speak along the hogwash, on a fail they are silence for the duration of the spell.

Surrender
- The target begins shouting that the players have surrendered and that it should be accepted. Surrounding enemies roll an intelligence save against the casters spell save or temporarily cease attacking the players however the target doesn't. Would have no effect if the target wouldn't accept surrender.

Trap
- The target begins shouting that the players are planning a trap of somekind. Surrounding enemies roll an intelligence save against the caster spell save, on a fail they wouldn't approach the players for a turn.

Retreat
- The target begins shouting that they need to retreat as the party is dangerous. Surrounding enemies roll an intelligence save, on a fail they spend their actions disengaging or moving away from the party.
