Chains of Lament

You gesture at a creature/creatures within range and three spectral hooks and chains spring forth latching onto the target. Each time the creature moves five feet, one of the chains breaks and the creature takes 1d12 necrotic damage.

At higher levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, two additional chains latch onto the creature per spell slot above 1st level.

If more than one creature is targeted by this spell the caster concentration is taxed:

-1 for the second target

-1d4 for additonal targets after the second.
