You create a magical zone that infiltrates the mind of all creatures in a 15-foot-radius sphere centered on a point of your choice within range. Creatures that can't be charmed are immune to this effect. Until the spell ends, the caster can ask a creature within the spell's area to truthfully answer a question or instead perform a task of the caster's choosing. The target creature can make a Charisma saving throw, and can refuse the request on a success. On a failed save, it must choose either "truth" or "dare."
If the target selects "truth," it must answer the question and must do so truthfully. An affected creature is aware of the spell and can thus be evasive in its answers as long as it remains within the boundaries of the truth. If the target selects "dare," the caster can command it to perform a simple task (limited to a sentence or two) as long as the task doesn't pose the risk of serious bodily harm, at the DM's discretion. The target must perform this task to the best of its ability until the task is completed or until this spell ends.
If you or any of your companions damage the target, the spell ends.
You do good work.
Hehehe, well done, sir.
ooo this is good. Dare is like Suggestion.
*standing ovation*
possibly new favorite spell
Daaaamn, you work *fast*!
well this spell is definitely going into the rotation
Oh man 🤦🏻♂️ Haha
Madlad if ever I saw one
Incredible!
A great spell! What was it created for/from?
umm is it intentional that that casting time is one action? you could do this in the middle of a battle.
Maybe you could add a downside which is you need to make the save against them.
Comedic effect.
You could be fighting monsters and then the wizard just asks, "truth or dare" halfway through the fight
Good point. I'll make sure to remember this when I make a Lich using only homebrewed spells! ;)
Genius.
