You gather stones to form a small golem made of the type of stone used as the material component in an unoccupied space within range. The golem obeys all commands given to it by you, and you can telepathically send commands to the golem as a free action on your turn. During combat, the golem has its own turn, and without any commands, will defend itself and you until commanded otherwise. The golem stays within 60 feet of the conjurer; if forced to move outside this range, the golem has 1 round to get back in range or the spell ends. The conjurer can also use a free action on their turn to dispel the golem.
At Higher Levels. When using a spell slot of certain levels higher than 1st, the golem can be made at larger sizes and become more sturdy and dangerous. When you cast this spell using a slot of 3rd, 4th, or 5th level, the golem increases in size as shown below:
- Slot Level | Size
- 3rd | Medium
- 4th | Large
- 5th | Huge
