You choose a willing creature who would be hit by an attack, but before damage is dealt. The creature is enveloped by a cloak of comforting warmth. Roll 1d10 and add the number rolled to the target’s AC against that attack.

If the attack misses, the target is enveloped by a cloak of comforting warmth as they gain hit points equal to the result of the initial roll.

If the attack still hits, the target gains a spark of enduring resolve as the damage for that attack is reduced by the result of the initial roll.
