You learn something about a creature you can see within range.

Make a ranged spell attack roll against a creature. On a hit, you learn one piece of information about the creature, such as a resistance, vulnerability, immunity, or ability score. If used against the same creature more than once within 10 minutes, you have disadvantage on the attack roll.
