Constricting Vines

Thorny vines erupt from the ground, restraining the target.  Make a ranged spell attack against one creature. On a hit, the target is restrained and takes 2d10 piercing damage, and on each of your turns for the duration, you can use  your action to deal 2d10 piercing damage to the target automatically. The spell ends if you use your action to do anything else. The spell also ends if the target is ever outside the spell's range or if it has total cover from you. Each turn the target may attempt a strength check against your spell DC, if successful, the spell ends. This spell can entrap an additional creature for every spell level above second when cast.
