Line effects and spells, such as lightning bolt and some dragons' breaths, stop completely at the sphere and do not continue if all damage is reduced.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the amount of damage the shield absorbing increases by 5 for each slot level above 5th.
