Choose a creature or loose object within range that is within 5 feet of the ground, with nothing between it and the ground. You summon a pillar of roaring flame to rise from the ground beneath it and maybe launch it into the air! The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or receive 12d6 damage and be pushed up into the air by 20 feet. If the movement is halted earlier due to a solid obstruction such as a ceiling the target receives bludgeoning damage for each 5 feet moved. If the target cannot keep itself aloft then after this spell resolves it will fall and might receive falling damage, as detailed in Chapter 8 of the Player's Handbook. Targets that are Huge are only moved 10 feet up and targets bigger than this are not moved.
