In order to cast this spell, you must first learn a deep insecurity or humiliating secret about the target. You then unleash a deeply personal insult laced with strong enchantments at a creature you can see within range. If the target can hear you (though it need not understand you), it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or take 4d8 psychic damage and have disadvantage on attack rolls for 1 minute. Additionally, over the course of the next year, any creature that heard you declare the insult during the casting of this spell will have perfect recall of that moment. This effect carries over to any creatures not present who hear the story second hand, potentially causing the tale to propagate aggressively.

Posted Nov 17, 2022I like how the creature doesn't even need to understand the insult. You just yell at them and they take 4d8 self-esteem damage and become too depressed to hit stuff for a minute.
I mean, that'd probably happen to me if someone yelled at me in French or something.

Posted Dec 3, 2023I like how not just you deeply humilliated them so much they can't fight properly and may die in the spot, but you also make everyone remember it. Hell, perhaps yourself could tell the tale to every town you visit and make sure everyone can laugh to him. If your enemy manages to survive, you'll disrespect him so much they will wish to be dead.
