Target one willing creature within range and line-of-sight. After 1 minute, the caster learns the target's remaining hit points, death saves, and any diseases, conditions, or ailments afflicting them for the duration. The information appears as a visual chart next to the target creature. This chart also displays an estimated remaining lifespan, unless the creature's remaining lifespan is unpredictable, such as an immortal or ageless being.
The caster can only see this information while looking directly at the target of the spell. Casting the spell again dispels the previous effect. The spell's effect can also be dismissed at any time as a free action.
Creatures that are not technically alive are not affected by this spell, such as constructs, specters, undead, and aberrations.
