(I Appreciate you time to view my spell, but I'd like to leave you with a small advisory. I myself have not gotten the chance to play D&D and only recently have I delved into the world of it, but I think it's something that I'll be doing in the future. This spell is nothing more than a concept. I also imagined that this spell could serve to be used in many situations including as a action or a reaction, but I left it as an action. But change it as you see fit. I made it more so for the concept and the situational possibilities of it. Anyhow, Thank you for your time:)

Void Hole is a fairly simple spell.

Void Hole summons a hole that leads into a realm of nonexistence, however one should take note, that when something goes through the holes it ceases to exist, that is not to say that it never existed. Ex: if you were to throw a pen through a void hole, you would have a perfect memory of the pen, the one that you were indeed holding in your hands five seconds ago, but it is only once a object/creature completely passes through, that it no longer exists. Anything thats partially in the Void Hole when it is dispelled (for example: a sword's tip or a part of a dwarfs ear) will be cut off at the line between the void and material planes.

Requirements: Void Hole cannot be casted inside of something, but can be casted on a surface or in midair. When casted on a surface it will cover the surface but not truly replace it. for example, if you were to have void hole casted onto a shield, it would cover the front of the shield and any arrows shot at the shield could go through the void hole, and they technically wouldn't have hit the shield.

Possible uses: it could be used to catch and eliminate an arrow before it reaches it's target, if could be cast on the ground to provide a deadly trap for any enemies the might run by or near it, it could be used to make the "deadly archaic orb of doom and destruction" fall through the BBEG's hands and disappear, forever. Unfortunately, you can't loot anything that doesn't exist, so that a possible con. But please, be creative and try things out with your DM around this idea/spell.

Void Holes cannot be moved. Once a void hole is summoned a it cannot be moved from it's location, with the obvious except of the movement of the surface that it was casted on. if the surface on which a void hole was casted breaks, such as a shield, the void hole will dispel on it's own.

Void Holes cannot be stretched or physically altered.

Only one Void Hole may be summoned at a time, unless the character is at level 10, at which they can sustain up to three void holes at once, however if not at cantrip level than a spell slot is required for each void hole.

Cantrip- A Void hole, up to 5 inches in diameter, is summoned on or at directed location within 15 feet from player.

For each spell level above cantrip the diameter and distance of the spell is doubled, with the exception of the 9th level void hole spell

9th level void hole spell- Darkness looms over as the void opens above in a targeted 1000 square foot area, range is within sight of the caster, as bolts of the void rain downward putting empty holes all things below. All creatures in area of effect take 7d6 of damage and must roll a wisdom saving throw (difficulty at DM's discretion), if the roll fails then the creature is stunned.
