A few hundred years ago, a Dwarven warlock named Brine the Binding captured a devil named Amistar and forced it to do his will after destroying a village. As a punishment, Brine created a spell that forced Amistar to do whatever his summoner pleased while he possesses them. Enraged, Amistar began bargaining with Brine, and they agreed that only a few randomly selected people can be chosen to wield this spell, a new one being selected whenever an old one dies. This spell has been used for centuries, people discovering their ability to call on him when they learn to use their magical abilities. After long years of service, He began to realise he kind of likes humans, so he began remodelling himself to resemble them a bit. Amistar can be pretty relaxed, but when someone has the nerve to attack any of his master's friends when he's around, he fights like an animal, as well as getting revenge on any mental abuse. When Amistar possesses you, you gain the following benefits: +2 to every dice roll, you can cast the spell cobweb without expending a spell slot, you can summon two imps to do your bidding until the spell weakens, and you are immune from necrotic damage. If you die while possessed, you return with half your total hit points and the spell ends immediately. Can be used every two days. While Amistar possesses you:

you give orders to him telekinetically

the dungeon master roleplays as him

coffee can be used to restore 1d10+1 HP

he is a bit passive-aggressive towards Dwarves.

if you are not on the material plane, he can appear in front of you instead of inside of you. he resembles a Shadow Demon, but a little more human-like.
