A bright green streak flashes from your hand to a point you choose within range and then blossoms with a low roar into an explosion of green flame. Each creature in a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 8d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The fire spreads around corners. It ignites all objects and creatures in the area. For all those that have failed the Dexterity saving throw, they are now ablaze as green flame has been attached to their person. It can only be removed by a Greator Restoration spell, or by jumping into water and submerging yourself. The fire stays in the area for 1 hour or until submerged.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 4th.
