When you cast this spell, you transform into a towering tree of a species of your choosing that is between 150 feet tall, and its branches at the top spread out in a 60-foot radius. All your forms of movement drop to 0, and you gain tremorsense out to 60 feet as your roots sense motion, but are otherwise blinded, though you are aware of any creature within five feet of you or any other tree in the area, even if they are not on the ground. While in this form, you gain the following benefits:
- You gain 25 temporary hit points.
- You gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical weapons.
- You make Constitution saving throws with advantage.
- You make Dexterity- and Wisdom-based attack rolls with advantage.
- The ground within 60 feet of you is difficult terrain for your enemies.
Trees. At the start of each of your turns, each of your enemies within 10 feet of you or another tree within 60 feet of you must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 4d6 slashing damage from whipping branches.
Roots and Vines. At the end of each of your turns, one creature of your choice that is on the ground that you can sense must succeed on a Strength saving throw or become restrained until the spell ends. A restrained creature can use an action to make a Strength (Athletics) check against your spell save DC, ending the effect on itself on a success.
You cannot cast spells while in this form, though you can twist and shake your bark in a way that can simulate speech.
