Alchemist's Flame

With a snap of your fingers, you use the power of fire within you to set alight a target of your choice. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d10+X fire damage. A flammable object hit by this spell ignites if it isn't being worn or carried. X is equal to 1 if cast at more than 15 feet. If at 15 feet or less, X is equal to your spell casting modifier. 

This spell's damage increases by 1d10+X when you reach 5th level (2d10+X), 11th level (3d10+X), and 17th level (4d10+X).
