Conjure Greater Elemental

This spell creates a greater elemental servant. Choose the material component relating to the desired elemental, for the spells casting time to produce the relating elemental. The elemental appropriate to the material component you chose, appears in an unoccupied space within the spells range. (E.g.: An Efreeti emerges from its bottled smoke) The elemental disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends.

For the purpose of this spell, none of the created elementals have access to their Wish feature, or any feature that would conjure additional creatures. In addition the created elementals can not speak, read, or write, and only understands the spellcasters verbal commands.

• Alternatively you can use this spell to replicate the effects of the Conjure Elemental, limited to CR 5 or lower, for twice the amount of elementals. This feature uses an additional spell slot according to the chosen CR.

The elemental is friendly to you and your companions for the duration. Roll initiative for the elemental, which has its own turns. It obeys any verbal commands that you issue to it (no action required by you). If you don't issue any commands to the elemental, it defends itself from hostile creatures but otherwise takes no actions.

If your concentration is broken, the elemental doesn't disappear. Instead, you lose control of the elemental, it becomes hostile toward you and your companions, and it might attack. An uncontrolled elemental can't be dismissed by you, and it disappears 1 hour after you created it.

This spell does not create a real genie but the closest magical replication of one, therefore does not include any possible consequences it comes with. E.g.: Creating an Efreeti that hails from the City of Brass, might draw its, or the Great Sultans ire. The created creature will for all intense and purpose be perceived as its real equivalent, even under the sense of Truesight, and can therefore have consequential implications depending on aligned factions.
