This spell is favorite among many bearded casters, allowing the caster to maintain or alter the magnificance of a beard. You choose one the following magical effects within range:

• You instantaneously cut the creature's beard to whatever pattern and length you choose.
• You instantaneously change the shape and style of the creature's beard.
• You instantaneously clean or soil the creature's beard.
• You can change the color, apply a scent, soften or stiffen the creature's beard for 1 hour.
• You cause the creature's beard to grow up to 2 feet. If the creature doesn't naturally grow a beard, it grows a magical one that disappears after 1 hour.

If you cast this spell multiple times, you can have up to three of its non-instantaneous effects active at a time, and you can dismiss such an effect as an action. If you target an unwilling creature, they must make a charisma saving throw to resist the effects of this spell.
