The caster raises a hand above their head and starts gathering an incredible amount of energy in the palm of their hand. A large blue swirling ball of force forms with so much extra energy that huge white shuriken like blades form on a horizontal axis.

The user throws the shuriken at a target within range forcing them to make a dexterity saving throw against the casters spell save dc. On a fail the target takes 3d8 force damage and 3d8 magical slashing damage. On a success they take half damage.The shuriken explodes creating a large sphere of spiralling energy, everything within 10ft of the target must also make a Dexterity saving throw. On a fail they take 1d8 force damage and 1d8 magical slashing damage. On a success they take half damage. 

At higher levels: when you cast this spell using a 5th level slot or higher, the damage increase by 1d8 force and 1d8 slashing and the area of effect increases by 5ft for every level above 4th.
