Creation

Holding the bones of a critter and placing them on to the ground, the bones come to life and form into a tiny undead companion that takes the form of a critter such as a mouse, rat, squirrel, rabbit, wallaby, ferret, or small bird.

On each of your turns, you can use a bonus action to mentally command any critter you made with this spell if the creature is within 120 feet of you (if you control multiple critters, you can command any or all of them at the same time if you issue the same command to each one). You decide what action the critter will take and where it will move during its next turn, or you can issue a general command, such as to guard a particular chamber or corridor. If you issue no commands, the creature only defends itself against hostile creatures. Once given an order, the creature continues to follow it until its task is complete or 24 hours since its creation has passed. Each critter only has 1 hit point and a AC of 5, they use your spell attack bonus as its attack and can do 1D4 points of damage with bites and scratches upon a successful strike.

The creature is under your control for 24 hours, after which the spell ends and the bones fall to the ground into a disorganized pile.
