Barrier

A shimmering, transparent field creates a partial dome around the target, protecting from most all forms of harm. Casting this spell will raise the AC of the target by 3, or create a 5 ft sphere of safety within a single harmful effect for one round. Any creature within the sphere automatically succeeds saving throws against harmful effects and suffers no damage. At higher levels the single target's AC increases by and additional 1per spell level above 2nd, or the sphere of safety increases in radius by 5 ft per level above second.
