You create a magical cord that attaches two creatures to each other. Choose two targets you can see within range. These targets can be no more than 30ft apart. Both targets must make a Dexterity saving throw. If both succeed, the spell fails. If only one succeeds, the other target is tethered to any solid surface within 30ft of it and is considered as Restrained.
On a fail from both creatures, they are yanked together and attached. These creatures cannot move more than 5ft from each other. Their speed is halved unless one holds an action to move with the other. If an attack roll misses one, it targets the other. All Dexterity saving throws from the tethered creatures are made at disadvantage. Finally, both creatures lose their Dexterity bonus to their AC (if any).
The tether itself has a 15 AC and 20 hit points. If an attack is made at the tether and misses, the attack targets one of the tethered creatures (if one of them makes the attack, it targets the other one).
