Alchemical Exploit

You target an unprotected, inert, simple substance such as water, oil, dirt, or sand. The volume of material that you can target with this spell can be no more than half a foot in any dimension. You can change the state of matter that the substance is in by one step (solid to liquid, liquid to solid, liquid to gas, or gas to liquid), alter its color slightly, or add or remove a polished sheen to it.

Alterations caused by this spell cannot directly cause damage.
