Conceal Contents

You cast a powerful illusion on a single tome or a container weighing no more than 10 lbs, such as a spellbook, a journal, a bag, or lockbox.

All script inside of a book targeted by this spell, including the cover, is obscured with magical illusions that make it impossible to be read by anyone other than the caster or creatures designated by the caster at the time the spell is cast. Any creature attempting to decipher the illusory text must succeed a Wisdom saving throw or be forced to return the book to the caster (if the caster is known to the person) or return it to where they took it from, as if under the effects of the Suggestion spell.

A container targeted by this spell appears empty on visual inspection. Any contents are rendered invisible and give off no odor. Anybody inspecting the container further must succeed a Wisdom saving throw. Any creatures who fail it are forced to ignore the container as if under the effects of the Suggestion spell. The illusion ends if the contents of the container are removed, or if the container or its contents are significantly damaged or destroyed.

This spell only protects against visual inspections. Spells that detect magic or use divination (such as Scrying or Arcane eye) pierce this illusion.
