You leap through space in a blur, smashing into an enemy as you pass between realms. You teleport to an unoccupied space of your choice that you can see within range. You can choose up to one creature in a line of radius 5 feet originating at the space you left and ending at the space you teleported to. That creature must make a Constitution saving throw.
On a failed saving throw, the target takes 3d10 force damage and is knocked prone. On a successful saving throw, the target takes half damage and is not knocked prone.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the maximum number of creatures you can target increases by one for each slot level above 2nd.

What does this mean: "You can choose up to one creature in a line of radius 5 feet originating at the space you left and ending at the space you teleported to."
Does that mean you can choose one creature you would pass through as you teleport in a straight line? May need rewording?
Yes :)
I think the word "radius" may be what tripped me and one of my players up. Please consider the following revision for clarity:
"You can choose up to one creature along a line 5 feet originating at the space you left and ending at the space you teleported to."
The precedent for this language is the spell lightning bolt which says: "A stroke of lightning forming a line 100 feet long and 5 feet wide" (using width rather than radius for lines).
Thanks for getting back to me. I'm enjoying your DNDBeyond home-brew content. :-)
That's a good suggestion! We've managed to get most of the spells using the right language but here and there some things slip through. Thanks a bunch :)
