You conjure a barrage of acid from the 222nd layer of the abyss as column of whirling acid erupts from the ground. Each creature within a 20ft radius by 40ft tall cylinder must make a dexterity saving throw, a target takes 8d4 acid damage immediately and 4d4 damage on the beginning of its next turn on a failed save, halve as much damage immediately and no damage at the begging of its next turn on a success.
The area where the spell was cast then becomes covered in viscous and slippery acid, and is considered difficult terrain. For 1 minute if a creature ends its turn in the are it must then make a Dexterity saving throw or fall prone to the ground and take an additional 1d4 acid damage.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage (both initial and later) increases by 1d4 for each slot level above 3rd.
