Oceanic Whispers

For a moment, Your voice echos toward a aquatic creature within range and whisper a message. The target must be a creature of aquatic descent going as little as a crab to an giant octopus. The knowledge and awareness of target is limited by their intelligence, but at a minimum, they can give you information about nearby locations and monsters, including whatever they can perceive or have perceived within the past days. You might be able to persuade them to perform a small favor for you, at the GM's discretion. The target (and only the target) hears the message and can reply in a whisper that only you can hear in that duration.

You can cast this spell through solid objects if you are familiar with the target and know it is beyond the barrier. Magical silence, 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, 3 feet of wood blocks the spell, or 5 feet of coral. The spell doesn't have to follow a straight line and can travel freely around corners or through openings. This spell only works when an able body of water are near 100 feet of you or within the able body of water itself and the same goes for the target.
