You channel the magic of nature through the ink of a tattoo on your body, duplicating the image and moving it to another surface of your choosing within range and sight. The two images are magically connected, allowing caster of the spell to feel it when something touches the second image as if it directly touched the caster on their tattoo. The image is magically bound to the surface it was placed on, making it impossible to remove the connection between the ink and the surface by anything lesser than a Greater Restoration Spell. This does not enhance endurance of the underlying material that the image is bound to in any way.
The connection between the image and the caster remains across planes. If the surface of the image is destroyed or a majority of it damaged before the spell is dispelled, the connection breaks, causing the caster to feel a sharp pain and take 1d4 psychic damage.
If this surface is part of another creature (e.g. skin), the creature, if able, can make a Charisma saving throw to counter the spells effects. Either way, the creature is aware that a spell was cast on it, though not the type of spell or position of the caster.
If this spell is cast while the caster already has an active connection to a tattoo, the connection to the old duplicate image(s) is lost.
At Higher Levels : When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you can create an additional two images for every slot level above 3rd. When one of the images is touched you know precisely which of the original images it was.
