A geyser of rock, earth, and plant life shoot out underneath a target throwing them into the air and enveloping them, creating a cocoon of plant matter. Tendrils of vine and root shoot out from the central target attempting to grab all enemies within range.
Make a ranged spell attack against a target in range, on a hit, that target takes 2d8 Piercing damage and is restrained, then taking an additional 2d8 Bludgeoning damage. The vines then erupt outward from the central target in a 20ft. cube attempting to restrain any enemies within range. All enemies within the cube are forced to make a Strength Saving Throw. On a failed save, targets take 2d8 Bludgeoning Damage and are Restrained for the duration as the vines constrict and wrap around them. Airborne enemies that fail their saving throw are sent crashing to the ground. On a successful save, the targets take no damage and are not restrained.
On each of your turns for the duration of the spell, you can use an action to cause the vines to crush any restrained targets, the targets can again make a Strength Saving Throw, taking 2d8 Bludgeoning damage on a failed save. On a successful save the target takes no damage, but is still restrained.
To break out, the restrained target can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. On a success, the target escapes and is no longer restrained by the vines.
