Xevrin's Angry Snapdragons

When you cast this spell a flurry of tiny flames shaped like petals appear around you in your space. While you concentrate on this spell any creature who successfully makes a melee attack against you takes fire damage equal to your casting stat modifier. Also when you cast this spell and as an action on each subsequent turn you can launch up to 3 petals at a creature or object within a range of 120ft. Make a ranged spell attack roll against the target. On a successful attack the target receives 1d10 fire damage and each creature or object within 5ft of the initial target receives fire damage equal to your casting stat modifier. Each petal requires a separate attack roll.

When this spell is cast using a higher level spell slot you may launch an additional petal for each spell slot above 5th level.
