You pull a tiny amount of energy from the Shadowfell and focus it into your attacks, depleting the target of energy. When you make an unarmed strike you deal an extra 1d8 necrotic damage on a hit. 

This spell becomes more powerful at higher levels: 2d8 at level five, 3d8 at level eleven, and 4d8 at level seventeen.
