A sizzling bolt of energy erupts forming a line 60 feet long and 5 feet wide out from you in a direction you choose. The target creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 4d8 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Centered on the point of impact, all creatures within a 15-foot cube must make a CON Save, taking 4d6 Thunder Damage and be knocked back 10 feet on a failure OR half damage on a success, no knock back.
The lightning ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 and 1d6 respectively for each slot level above 3rd.
