You touch one fabric or fibrous object such as a cloak, length of rope, or net, that is no larger than 10 feet in any dimension. If you target a larger object then a 10ft square area including a point you touch is affected instead.

For the duration you strengthen the material and give it the following properties:

• It becomes stiff and doesn’t bend from the shape it was in.
• Its AC becomes 23 if not already higher and it has 20 hit points.
• It loses any vulnerabilities, and it gains resistance to all damage types it’s not already immune to.

At Higher Levels. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the duration is concentration, up to 10 mins. If you use a spell slot of 3rd level or higher the duration is up to 1 hour. If you use a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the duration is 8 hours. If you use a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the duration is 24 hours. If you use a 6th level spell slot, the spell lasts until it is dispelled. Using a spell slot of 4th level or higher grants a duration that doesn't require concentration.
