The caster places their depiction of a door (carving, metal work, etc) upright on the ground and their chosen jewel beside it. Once the ritual is complete, the depiction will grow to the size of the door you are trying to pass through and create a 10ft long passage connecting through the astral plane. Once activated, the door appears closed until physically opened by the caster, the passage only last for 1 minute and can be passed through in either direction for the duration. The conjured door emanates bright light in a 5ft radius and dim light for an additional 10ft. The true physical door cannot be used once the passage has been activated and is in the shape of the depiction used for the spell. The door you are connecting to must be on the same plane and you must have seen and touched the door to transport through it. You can only exit through the side/s that you have seen. If left unopened for more then 4 hours the door will disappear and the spell is lost. You transport to the door of your choosing regardless if it has been moved from the point you last had contact with it, However if the door is no longer in a reasonable state the spell will choose another door within 1 mile of the original at the DM's discretion.
Creatures still inside of the passage once it closes are sent in a random direction. Roll a d20, on a 2 to 10 the creature/s are returned to the point of casting, on an 11 to 20 the creature/s are sent to the chosen destination, and on a 1 the creature/s are trapped in the astral plane until a passage to the same door is created again.
If cast in the same location connecting to the same door everyday for over a year the spell becomes permanent and the small depiction is lost.
