The smell can boost morale, heal wounds of both the mind and body , nourish the hungry, entice guards from there posts, calm the most viscous of beasts and bribe even the most greedy of souls. They can be used for health or to poison / drug a target if required. the rolls are themselves not magical just the making of them is. Bacon has a power all of its own no other magic is required.
