You call the powers of your oath to grant you power to throw weapon that normally could not be thrown without significant penalty and return to your hands for up to 1 minute. You touch a weapon that you are proficient and allows you to add the "throw" property and the "returning" property.
Throw: You may use your strength modifier to throw a non-2 handed martial or simple weapon 20ft/60ft without penalty. The weapon deals damage as you would if you were to wield the weapons. Weapons with the versatile property may be thrown with both hands if they are free.
Returning: As a bonus action you may call back your weapon to your side. You must have a free hand to call your weapon.
Since the power is unique the caster, weapons picked up by others would not benefit from this spell.

Posted Aug 18, 2018Good idea. The oath part kinda limits it. I kinda feel it's under powered though.

Posted Aug 18, 2018I think as a paladin only spell its just ok, if a nice magic weapon is acquired it gets better. it does not work well with multi attack though as you only get one bonus action. if the retrieval becomes a free action, you can use it on an ally or other classes get this, the spell becomes very good. It effectively gives you 20 ft. reach for an attack.
