Acid
You call forth a breeze full of stinging acid droplets from your outstretched hand.
Each creature in a 15-foot cone originating from you must make a Constitution saving throw.
On a failed save, a creature takes 2d6 acid damage and is blinded until the end of your next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t blinded.
At Higher Levels. For each spell slot used higher than 1st level, the damage increases by 1d6.

Posted Apr 18, 2019I fee like this spell compares pretty well to Burning Hands, but is on the strong side imo. Blinded is too good a condition to be worth only a 1d6 damage difference, even only for a round. Ray of Sickness can only target affect one enemy and Poisoned isn't as good as Blinded. Balance wise I think dropping the 2d6 to 2d4 (acid seems to like the d4 game and I have to agree) and make it a 10-foot cone knocks off a lot of power, but makes room for the blinding effect if that's what we are interested in.
