You call forth the essence of plague and rot, filling a space with noxious and caustic corpse gas. Those exposed to the gas feel their bodies age and decay; flesh blisters and boils, metal corrodes and rusts, and wood breaks down. Pick a spot you can see within range. A 10 foot by ten foot cube of necrotic gas fills the space. Any creature caught in the gas cloud, or that starts there turn there, must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 2d8 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful save. As an action on your following turns until this spell ends, you can move the gas up to thirty feet, but no more than 120 feet away from you.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the gas deals an additional 1d8 necrotic damage for every level above 1st and gains 5ft in diameter for every 2 spell slots above first (i.e 3rd: 15ft, 5th: 20ft, 7th: 25ft, 9th: 30ft).
