A target humanoid you can see within range must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failure it begins to believe it's suffocating and begins to panic. A target is immune to the effect if it doesn't need to breathe, or can hold its breath indefinitely. Whilst suffocating it makes any attacks or ability checks at disadvantage, and it can't speak or cast spells with a V component. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, requiring two consecutive successes to end the spell.
If a creature fails three successive saving throws against the spell then it becomes unconcious until the spell ends, only waking if it takes damage, or someone uses an action to shake or slap the creature awake.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 3rd. The creatures must be within 30 feet of each other when you target them.
