Arcane Bolt

In your hand you form a ball of blue and white arcane energy. You unleash it at your target and guide it along its path.

You make a ranged spell attack roll against one target on a hit the target takes 8d6 force damage. If you miss you can use a bonus action to make the bolt swing around and attempt to hit the target again, make a second attack roll against the target to try to hit it again, you must use this new roll. 

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
