You channel magical energy into one simple or martial weapon you’re holding, imbuing it with a degree of sentience. It gains an alignment that is the same as yours, it can perceive its surrounding in a way similar to blindsight out to 60 feet. and it can communicate by transmitting emotion to you. Your DM tells you what you feel from your sentient weapon. For the duration of the spell, when you take the Attack action and make an attack with your sentient weapon, you can use your bonus action to make another attack with it. If your sentient weapon is a thrown weapon, it returns to your hand after you make an attack with it. If you act against your sentient weapon's alignment or otherwise upset it during the spell's duration, you lose these benefits and instead have disadvantage on attacks made with your sentient weapon.
