You conjure a mass of negative energy that forms on a creature causing previously healed wounds to slowly reopen. Choose a creature within range, at the start of each of the creature's turns, they must make a Constitution saving throw or take 2d4 necrotic damage. On a success, the creature takes half damage and the spell ends.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d4 for each slot level above 1st.
