Created by the famed artificer and spellwright Xin al-Qasim, this ritual pulls positive and elemental energies into the Prime Material, to coalesce into high grade vegetable or mineral matter. Finding himself constantly running out of the needed materials for his creations, Xin created this spell to remove the need to hunt down crafting materials at the local bazaar, and as a way to pad his coin purse during lean times.

When this ritual is preformed, the caster pulls energies from beyond the Prime Material, and focuses it through a sample of the desired material*. The energy is converted into matter, and takes the form of the focus material (note: the focus material is NOT used up by the ritual). The amount of matter created cannot exceed 1 cubic foot, per level of the caster, though the rough shape** of the mass is determined by the caster. The process of creating materials is gradual, with the caster creating their maximum amount with the completion of the ritual***. While more commonly available materials (i.e. iron, quartz, oak) and somewhat rarer materials (i.e. mercury, topaz, blackthorn) can be fully completed in an hour's time, rarer materials (i.e. Platinum, diamond, ebony) require twice as long to create. Materials that are somewhat or completely magical in nature (i.e. Mithril, Adamant) require three hours.

*This focus sample can be almost anything, provided that it is entirely made of the desired material, at least the size of a human knuckle and is not enchanted. It is also worth noting that using unrefined or unprocessed materials cannot yield the refined or processed material. For example, using a piece of iron ore cannot yield refined iron.

**The shape of the mass created can be shaped into simple, basic forms. A good example is using a piece of spun hemp, and forming the created mass into a braid to form a stout rope., or a wide flat weave to make a bolt of cloth.

***As a result, if a lesser amount of the material is desired, the entire hour is not required. The exact amount of this truncated time is decided by the GM.
