You gift unto those around you a bastardization of the reality they know, turning all that is familiar into an incomprehensive nightmare. Giving the gift of misfortune, you create an unseen area of effect with a range of 20 feet (+10 feet for each level that this spell is cast above 2nd) that bestows entropy upon those within it. Each creature within the zone rolls a d6, and applies one of the following effects based on their roll:

Roll

Effect

1

The creature sees 2 images of whatever enemy they're fighting at the moment and has disadvantage on their attack rolls as long as they're within the Zone

2

The creature believes they're stuck to the floor by glue and must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save their movement speed is reduced to zero, and on a successful save their movement speed is halved. This effect lasts until their next turn.

3

The creature believes that they have caught fire, and does their best to put out the flames for 1d6 rounds. All logic and reasoning is thrown aside, no amount of sensibility will stop the illusion.

4

The creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against the caster's spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature believes it's bones have gone completely limp and flops to the floor uselessly for 1d4 turns.

5

The creature forgets all events in the past 1d8 minutes. If it loses memory up to a point before combat, it becomes nonhostile until hit.

6

The creature is launched 20 feet into the air at the beginning of its turn within the zone and must make a Consitution saving throw. On a successful save the creature takes no damage but is confused, and on a failed save the creature takes 2d6 bludgeoning damage and loses all movement speed for that turn.
