You twist the weave of the next spell you cast, and enhance it. This spell does not work with spells that have been cast above their base level, as the weave of magic is too unstable at that point to enhance any further. (An exception to this is spells made by Afarihm. If this spell is cast in conjunction with one of his spells that have been upcasted, you can chose both 'at higher levels' effects instead of one).
The next spell you cast that gains the following bonus, depending on its effects.
If it causes direct damage: You can now select the type of damage the spell inflicts. The target must make a saving throw of the casters spellcasting ability (ie: int for wizard). On a failed save the target takes half the damage of the spell as additional damage.
If it has an effect that lasts for a certain amount of time, double the time that it lasts.
If the spell has a range above self, or specifies an area of effect, you can double it.
If the spell has multiple of the above items, choose only one to enhance.
ie: Dragon's breath. Either double the max time you can concentrate on the spell to 2 minutes, or change the damage type to one of your choice and add additional damage, or extend the cone to 30 ft.
