each creatures in the circle must make a dexterity or constitution saying throw.

sucess: the target takes 1d12 necrotic damage

failure: the target takes 2d12+your spellcasting level necrotic damage, and is grappled. the bloodbriar has a strength bonus of +3 to keep grappling a creature.

whenever a creature enters or begins its turn inside the bloodbriar, they must make the aforementioned saving throw.
