Choose one object, point, or area within range (that is not a creature). If the target is under the effects of at least one abjuration spell with a non-instantaneous duration (such as arcane lock or snare), you learn which of those spells are affecting the target.
For each non-instantaneous abjuration spell affecting the target, you may then choose to suppress the spell's effects. If the spell is 2nd level or lower, the spell is suppressed for up to 10 minutes. For each qualifying spell of 3rd level or higher affecting the target, make an ability check using your spellcasting ability. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a successful check, the spell is suppressed up to a number of minutes equal to 10 - the spell's level.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the targeted spell effect can be automatically suppressed if its spell level is less than or equal to the level of the spell slot you used. All spell effects of a higher level than the spell slot you used still require a successful ability check (using your spellcasting ability) to suppress.
