You create a small burst of psionic energy. Each creature within range, other than you, and must succeed on a Intelligence saving throw or take 1d4 psychic damage and knocked prone.
The spell’s damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).

This actually seems a little weak compared to most battle cantrips. Maybe start at 2d4?
It might, but this is how I look at it, the base damage for aoe cantrips is 1d6. Which having this spell having a rarely resisted damage type AND inflicts a condition on a failed save, I think 1d4 is fine even though it's within melee range. Plus with the release of the explorer's guide to wildmounte including Sapping Sting. I felt that my scaling was good, just you won't be picking up this spell for raw damage.
*If you want a 1d6 version, I have tried that out one the 1.1 version of this spell.
