As an action on your turn, you can put your hand before your eye and remove it from its socket painlessly, turning it into a glassy hemisphere which attaches to the palm of your hand. When attached to this hand, the eye is not especially vulnerable to any external factors. You can see from its point of view as well as your own. In addition, while looking through this eye, you can make a perception check as a bonus action.
As a bonus action on your turn, you may return the eye to its socket, ending the spell prematurely.
